Bovendien kan de stang alleen worden geopend als deze van bovenaf wordt ingedrukt, waardoor wordt voorkomen dat de verbindingslus per ongeluk van positie verandert. Dankzij het compacte ontwerp en de schuifsluiting heeft de HMS BULLETPROOF BELAY ECO echter nog steeds een slank profiel en kan met één hand worden bediend.
