Intuitive belay device with reliable blocking of the climbing rope. The first generation of the Smart belay device was successfully launched in 2009. Built on the experience the new Smart 2.0 offers significantly improved braking effectiveness as well as optimized geometry and intuitive handling. The newly developed brake insert blocks the rope in the event of a fall. The belaying action of the Smart 2.0 is the same as the previous model and is therefore tailored to the belayer's reflex movements.

Perfect combination for maximum safety: the Smart 2.0 reliably locks the rope in the event of a fall, while at the same time the Safety Gate prevents the Smart HMS from twisting in the belay loop of the climbing harness. An essential gadget for safe climbing.

The Smarter ensures additional safety for the Smart 2.0 belay device and locks to prevent falls even in the event of incorrect use (for example, if the braking hand is held in the wrong position above the belay device). The Magic Sling 12.0 has been produced using a completely new method – a core of round twisted Dyneema® yarn is surrounded by an abrasion-proof sheath. Resulting in an ultra-robust sling without any load-bearing connecting seam. Thanks to its special construction, the Magic Sling 12.0 offers significantly higher knot strength in comparison with conventional slings. The core-sheath construction (load-bearing core and protective sheath) also makes the sling far less susceptible to damaging UV rays, and abrasion from rough rocks does not impair the sling's tensile strength. The Magic Sling 12.0 is suitable for universal use and offers absolute maximum safety. The sheath construction of the sling has been revised for the 2019 summer season, making the new version of the Magic Sling 12.0 softer and more flexible.

A must for alpine, ice, trad and multi-pitch climbers: The single-strand Alpine Trad Sling offers faster and therefore safer handling than traditional slings. Instead of pulling it over your head and arm, you simply unclip the carabiner and pull the sling from your body. The Alpine Trad Sling uses the same quantity of material as a round sling, but rather than being stitched into a closed ring, the single-strand construction has a loop at each end to attach a carabiner. Intermediate belays can be quickly and easily shortened from 120 to 60 or 30 cm. 100% ultra-light Dyneema material offering the following advantages in comparison with regular nylon: higher strength/weight ratio, reduced water absorption and greater abrasion resistance. Weight 31 g. Weight reduction of 11% compared with our lightest sling 120 cm Contact Sling 8.0.

When every gram counts, the Sender Screwgate carabiner is the right choice for climbers who demand performance. This extra-lightweight and compact carabiner features a ‘D’ shape for easy handling. The key lock nose prevents any snagging when clipping and unclipping. The orange marking is an additional safety feature, acting as a warning if the carabiner is not screwed closed. In icy or dirty environments, a screw-locking carabiner is better choice in comparison to a twist-lock version.
